National Literacy Month Celebration!

 

This free event featured games, performers, story times, free books, activities and a free lunch!  Overall, Reading for All gave out 343 free books and 273 lunches.  There were more than 330 people at this event!

Reading for All
accepted donations of new and gently used children's books.  If you would also like to donate books to the program, volunteer with Reading for All, or know more about this event, please contact Michele Bergeron, Reading for All Coordinator at 503-434-7326.

 Anne-Louis Sterry gave a marvelous performance with family tunes (left), and the kids had the chance to make Curious George puppets at the craft table (right).
