Oscar Mayer Wienermobile Visits Boys & Girls Club and Supports Book Drive!

Thank you to the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile team and the West Salem Boys & Girls Club for their support of the Holiday Book Drive!

Boys & Girls Club members and visitors had the opportunity to bring a book to donate and visit the Wienermobile.  Whistles, stickers & a free book from Reading for All were handed out to all the kids.  
66 books were added to the Holiday Book Drive count from donations brought in!

Reading for All is a partnership between The Oregon Community Foundation and the Marion, Polk and Yamhill county Children and Families Commissions. The mission of these agencies complements the Foundation's commitment to early childhood development and strengthening Oregon families. Together, we are mobilizing to increase literacy in the Northern Willamette Valley.

Because 90% of brain development happens by age 5, making reading a priority in early childhood yields the greatest return on investment.
